The efficiency of major industrial enterprises in Sichuan province of China: A super slacks-based measure analysis

<p style='text-indent:20px;'>The main objective of this research is to measure the efficiency 397 major industrial enterprises in Sichuan province China 2013.To end, we employed DEA super slacks-based (Super-SBM) model for performance evaluation manufacturing firms.The empirical results show that 21 operate efficiently, and average score analyzed only 0.15. The enterprise with highest 96.15% higher than score, which benchmark operational efficiency. Among selected sample enterprises, 5.29% are highly efficient operation. It was also noticed pharmaceutical firms among all a mean 0.75, 80% overall industries. While chemical raw materials products lowest 0.39. Results sensitivity analysis profit has great impact on special equipment firms, but relatively weak manufacture computers, communications, other electronic equipment. effect export delivery value not obvious.</p>
